We are a mother and son partnership with a lifetime of experience in bereavement and loss. Our passion is helping you find the beauty in a life story and bringing it back into focus. We believe every story is too important to be forgotten, and we work with you to ensure it is captured and celebrated in the most natural, beautiful way possible.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in the heart of the Wigan Borough. We proudly serve the town of Wigan and all surrounding Northwest areas, bringing our services directly to whichever location you feel is most appropriate for your ceremony

What is the Remembrance Capture Pack?

The Capture Pack is a beautiful way for the congregation to share their favourite memories during the service. By gathering stories from the people your loved one truly impacted, we help you build a lasting legacy. It enriches the ceremony, ensuring those unique perspectives and moments are kept safe for the future.

How does this support the generations to come?

By gathering stories now, you create a "living tapestry" of a life. We help uncover the hidden roles your loved one played—as a friend, colleague, or mentor—that younger family members might not yet know. This ensures their personality and wisdom stay integrated into your family’s narrative for years to come.

Where can we conduct our Remembrance Service?

The choice of venue is entirely down to your personal preference and should be a place that best represents the person you are remembering. This could be the comfort of your own home or garden, a favourite outdoor spot like a local park, or a community space such as a local hall or social club. We work with you to make your chosen setting work for your celebration.

How do you help us with the "words"?

It’s natural to feel overwhelmed by the weight of a life story. We work with you to create a professional, agreed-upon script for the day, providing a clear and dignified structure. This ensures everything you want to say is captured perfectly, allowing you to simply focus on being present in the moment

How is this different from a funeral?

A Remembrance Service happens on your own timeline, often long after the initial rush of a funeral has passed. It is an unhurried celebration of a life that is still very much a part of yours. It offers a dedicated space for your community to come back together and acknowledge that their presence still matters.

Is there support after the service ends?

Yes. Every service includes a compassionate follow-up conversation. This is a quiet, peer-to-peer space to reflect on the day and find some clarity. We provide a professional infrastructure of care, ensuring you don’t feel alone once the ceremony concludes.
